About the Workshop:
Step right up to a book club with a TWIST! We are not only going to be reading a spectacular book, BUT we’re also going to be creating new endings of said book! *You may gasp here* This club will allow you to read from a writer’s point of view and see how you can apply your own style to a work of fiction. We will talk about crazy things like themes and symbolism while discussing the book we are reading. I will also introduce you to a little something called fanfiction where the readers become the writers as long as credit is given where credit is due. This club will allow students to develop their reading skills as well as their writing and their critical thinking all in a fun environment.
